The website was designed as a place for family and friends to share all kinds of things, and I encourage you to get involved. You can share your favorite photos, the latest news, your home movies and more.
Please note all content submitted, will be reviewed and determined to be fit, following our content rules. 1Macman's Place reserves the right, and at its sole discretion, to deny any content it determines to be unfit, from being linked to, or posted on this website.

How to Share Content
Because there are several types of content you can share, it's also necessary to have different methods to submit it. Below is a list of the things you can share, simply choose the one that fits your needs, then follow the instructions to share it.
Any information submitted using the contact page, will come to me as an email. So be sure to include your email address, in order for me to respond to your request.
News
If you are interested in sharing news on the website, you can do so using the contact page. Just be sure to give as much information as possible, before submitting the form. Your news will be reviewed, prior to being posted on the site, but is usually uploaded the day it's received.
Special Occasions
If you want to share a special occasion on the website, like a birthday or anniversary, you can do so using the contact page. Be sure to give full details about it, including date, name(s), and type of occasion. Also make sure to get the information to me early enough, to be posted on the website, before it takes place.
Events
If you want to share an event on the website, like a party, wedding, or family reunion, you can do so using the contact page. Be sure to give full details about it, including date, time, location, type of event. Also make sure to get the information to me early enough, to be posted on the website, before it takes place.
Photos
You can share all kinds of photos on the website, like a wedding, a birthday party, Christmas, or a family vacation. You can even share multiple photos as an album, or a link to a web based album, you may already have.
There is also a section on the website for sharing photos of our loved ones who passed away, as well as a section for family members and friends, celebrating a special occasion or an outstanding accomplishment.
To submit photos you'd like to share, you need to contact me, to find out how. You can also get help with sending a large number of photos, are unable to email photos, or don't have digital copies, and need to submit paper photographs.
Depending on the number of photos submitted and the work involved, it may take some time, to get them posted on the website.
Home Movies
If you'd like to share a home movie on the website, please contact me, to find out how. Movies are uploaded to my YouTube channel first, then will be available on this website. Once uploaded you will be able to watch it here on the site, or on my YouTube channel.
Not all movie formats are compatible, so I may not be able to share every one. Also due to the work involved in preparing, editing, converting and uploading a movie, it may take a substantial amount of time, before it becomes available.
Tips
If you are interested in sharing a tip on the website, you can do so using the contact page. You can only submit the tip information as text with the contact page, so if you want to include photos in your tip, you need to contact me, to find out how.
Be sure to give complete details for your tip. Also make sure to include a list of tools or supplies, that may be required to complete it, and links to websites, if applicable.

You also need to be sure that your preferences and settings are correct, to give you the best Internet experience. Finally as far as updates go, check to see that all required plug-ins, are installed and up to date.
Screen Size & Resolution
Screen size, resolution, and browser settings, vary widely these days. It is possible that some pages of this website may not fit your browser, and require you to scroll to view certain parts.
This website was built for today's standards with size and resolution in mind, using the latest technology. But it is possible however, that the website may not be compatible with or support, older screen sizes and/or resolutions.
Website Width
Nowadays, most computer monitors are widescreen. Changes have been made to accommodate the wider monitors, and websites are expanding the width of their pages, to fit the larger screens.
The 1Macman's Place website was built using a responsive theme, and should look good on any screen size. Responsive websites are designed to automatically adjust the width of the content, to fit the device it's viewed on.
Fonts and Colors
When I first built this website, I only used web safe fonts of the current standard, in size and color. A lot has changed since then, and more fonts and colors are aceptible now, with our computers and devices.
In today's world there are a ton of fonts being used, and our devices support millions of colors. Some font differences and colors are normal though, depending on your browser, browser settings, and system. But your device will automatically use the fonts and colors, it's compatible with.
History & Cache
Depending on the amount of time you spend on the Internet, your browser's history and cache files, can grow rather large. If you are still having problems, try clearing the browser history and cache files, followed by refreshing the page. Quitting then relaunching your browser, can sometimes also help.
Testing
This website is continually tested for compatibility, with the latest devices and browsers. It was also built using a responsive theme, so it will automatically adapt to fit, the size of any computer or mobile device.
For Apple computers, it has been tested with macOS 10 through macOS 26, using the most recent versions of Safari, Firefox, Chrome, and DuckDuckGo. For Apple mobile devices, it has been tested with iOS 5 through iOS 26, using the most recent versions of the same browsers.
For Windows based computers, it has been tested with Internet Explorer version 5.5 through 11, and the latest version of the Microsoft Edge browser.
Testing is conducted, using the latest rendering and responsive software. During the testing process, all pages rendered correctly, site functions worked as intended, and no compatibility issues were found.
